Yes, we accept most major dental insurance plans. We also offer direct billing so you won’t need to pay out-of-pocket and wait for reimbursement. We frequently work with Sun Life, Manulife, Canada Life, Green Shield Canada, Desjardins, Blue Cross, and ClaimSecure.

Do you offer sedation for nervous or anxious patients?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we offer minimal nitrous oxide (laughing gas) sedation to help you feel calm and comfortable during your visit. Minimal (conscious) sedation is ideal if you experience dental anxiety, have a strong gag reflex, or need to sit through long procedures. We'll review your medical history to ensure it's safe for you.

Westend Dental Clinic proudly accepts student dental insurance plans from Carleton University (CUSA Health Plan), University of Ottawa (uOttawa Health Plan), and Algonquin College (ASA Student Plan). Just bring your student ID or plan information to your appointment and we’ll help verify your coverage and handle direct billing when available. We also accept UHIP plans for international students
